Welcome to the Learning Hive!
The Learning Hive at Melodi Meadows is a unique, engaging and encouraging learning environment based just outside of Carmarthen, SW Wales in Bronywdd Arms.
The aim at the Hive is to create a safe, comfortable and intimate educational space for learners in a more supported, flexible and personal way tailored to their specific needs.
At the Hive we understand that Education isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation because everyone learns differently and no two students are the same. When learning environments match the children’s needs, they are then empowered to thrive to reach their full potential and our aim is to do just that; support, boost, encourage, inspire and motivate each learner to reach new heights within their educational journey.
Alongside the tailored learning sessions for Maths and English we also hope to provide the local community of children with more creative sessions such as: Arts and Crafts classes, Cooking & Home Economics Classes, Hands on Science Experiments (including STEM sessions), Themed Unit Studies (covering a cross curricular deep dive into specific topics), Lego Club and so much more.

1:1 Tutoring
A personalised 60-minute tutoring session focused on your child’s individual learning needs.
1:1 tutoring can be very beneficial as it provides your child with my undivided attention and allows for a completely customisable learning experience that adapts to your child’s unique learning pace; identifying and helping to bridge gaps within their academic journey, and is tailored to their personal learning style. This ultimately helps to build and strengthen a child’s confidence and accelerates academic progress.

Clubs & Activities
Fun, creative, engaging and hands on clubs & activities such as:
Arts & Crafts Classes, Cooking Classes, STEM /Science Club, Lego Therapy/Club, Reading Book Club etc and so much more.

Prices for the clubs and activities vary greatly, but typically range from £5-£20 per session and or individual class; please check bookings page for more information regarding costs
Spaces are limited so make sure you book in advance to ensure you don’t miss out
Classes must be booked ahead as we operate on a booking only system; we do not and will not accept anyone without a booking
Class sizes will remain on the smaller size to allow for a more calm, comfortable and personal learning experience (5-6 pupils at a time)

Group Learning Sessions
Join up to 5-6 learners for a collaborative group learning session.
These 60-minute sessions provide targeted academic support, structured in-depth lessons, increased student engagement and a chance to build upon children’s social, emotional and communicational skills.
The benefits of small-group instruction for all grade levels lie in its ability to cater to individual needs, promote active participation, and to create a supportive learning community.

Small Group Classes:
Classes & Courses are 60- minute long curriculum tailored sessions
Prices vary depending on the unit of study and core curriculum programs offered so please check each individual course description for more up to date pricing information— you can find this information on the ‘book now’ page
10% discount is available upon request when booking multiple children on to the same unit study, course or class (e.g., siblings)- please email info@thelearninghive.uk or fill in the form on the ‘Get In Touch’ page to receive the discount code
Unit Studies are offered as a block of classes which run as a 4- week curriculum course and are an upfront cost that are sold as a block (e.g., £60 etc. depending on the course) for the full 4 week program of study and must be paid in full as there is not a weekly option on these units. Please note that each course will include all lesson materials needed in order to complete the unit of study
All unit studies, courses and classes are all delivered by a fully qualified teacher in a private, calm and nurturing environment
